No Parachute, Vol. 1 is a dvd collection of music videos, released by Happy Happy Birthday To Me. The dvd contains twenty-six different music videos and clocks in at nearly an hour and a half. The music videos are all low-budget, independent, and wonderful. And you've never seen any of them before.
Artists featured on the dvd include Of Montreal, Architecture In Helsinki, The Hidden Cameras, The Maybellines, Boyracer, and current it girl Kimya Dawson.
From the home movies of Boyracer to the '80s MTV feel of Coleman And Powell to the stuffed animal bankrobbery of The Maybellines, the videos run the gamut of the creative aspects and bring inspiration and creativity back to the music video form.
No Parachute, Vol. 1 is available through HHBTM for $12 and Volume 2 is expected sometime this year.
